This cost effective approach to designing rack mount (or any other size) applications leverages Densitron's major investment in an array of appropriately sized ITO PCT sensors and our extensive expertise and quality control in bonding these sensors to a cover lenses with silkscreened art of your choosing.
For example, our new 2U Versapanel TM Sensor proprietary to Densitron is specifically designed for rack applications. Two sensors can provide a glass touch surface to almost the entire rack face plate and still allow room for jacks and power switches.
• As long as there is a glass sensor underneath the graphic icons such as the first example above using a 4.3" sensor and a 2.9" Ultra bright negative mode display and two color silk screen glass bezel inlaid into a gray aluminum bezel, the best of both worlds can be achieved. Soft menus and high traffic touch icons replacing those tired unreliable buttons, switches and potentiometers.
• The second example above using a 2U sensor and a 4.3" TFT and 4 color silkscreen soft buttons plus a green LED window using either a contiquous 19" seamless glass bezel or an area bezel adjacent to a black bezel to appear seamless offers the best of all worlds . Soft menus and high traffic touch icons and numeric keypad plus LED windows replacing those tired unreliable buttons, switches and potentiometers. There is also an example of a negative mono graphic display in a window to compliment a scroll function soft key silkscreened adjacent to the display. Any combination of displays and silkscreened keys including touch sliders can be accommodated.
