This cost effective approach to designing instrument applications leverages Densitron's major investment in an array of appropriately sized ITO PCT sensors and our extensive expertise and quality control in bonding these sensors to a cover lenses with silkscreened art of your choosing.
For example, our new 7"Versapanel TM Sensor is specifically designed for instrument grade applications such as medical, test and measurement and industrial. The 7" active touch area sensor can provide a glass touch surface to almost the entire instrument face and still allow room for jacks and power switches. The example custom 80-0513-000 Versapanel demonstrates this unique solution in a medical application.
As long as there is a glass sensor underneath the graphic icons such as the first example above using a 7" sensor and a 4.3" Ultra bright TFT display with full color laser jet label "optically bonded" behind the glass bezel providing a contiguous seamless glass bezel, your designer gets the best of all worlds. Soft menus, high density high traffic touch icons and scrolling keypads, plus LED windows replacing those tired unreliable membrane switches,buttons, switches and potentiometers. Any combination of displays and LaserJet keys including touch sliders ad jog wheels can be accommodated. Even windows for LEDs and satellite additional numeric or graphic displays can be accommodated!
