After the LCD itself, the LED
backlight is the most important technology affecting the overall quality of your display’s readability, contrast and clarity. Because of this, Densitron has focused its significant resources to offer the highest quality, most cost effective backlighting available for your display requirements. LEDs can be built to the side of the plastic lcd lightguide, achieving low LEDs counts for the design and thinner overall construction. This is now one of the most common designs used in LCD display Backlighting.

Densitron is happy to design a custom lightguide that includes options such as LCD mounting and registration features; compact LED mounting systems (small integral flex circuits or PCBs); light management films including BEF, diffusion layers or other optical enhancements; or the latest eye pleasing LED colors. Simpler more conventional custom designs are also available. Or, if time or budgets are short, you can select from our substantial list of tooled standard products that are either available from stock or with relatively short production lead-times.
